Terms and Conditions

If at any time up to one year from the date when the 3M Schotchard™ carpet protector was applied, the treated carpet is stained by water or oil-based materials as a result of normal household activities and the stain cannot be removed according to our directions, JENS, Inc. will make a FREE, no charge spotting service call to professionally remove the spot.

If we cannot remove the stains, JENS, Inc. will refund the price you paid for the application of 3M Scotchgard™ carpet protector. Upon receipt of reimbursement, this Warranty becomes null and void.

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

• Pre-existing stains.
• Stains caused by dyes, inks, bleaches, plant fertilizer, corrosive liquids, drain cleaners, acne preparations, pet stains, insecticides, acids, abuse, unauthorized spotting agents, everyday use or natural disasters such as floods, fire or earthquakes.
• Carpets in rental or commercial establishments.
• General soiling from everyday carpet use.
• Cleaning methods other than provided by or recommended by the carpet manufacturer or JENS, Inc.

Directions for stain removal will be provided at time of purchase.

3M products sold under the Scotchgard™ brand name have been thoroughly tested and are safe for their intended use. Materials manufactured after December 31, 2000 are deemed acceptable for sale by the U.S. EPA and other environmental agencies around the world.
